Fees
When a fee is due, the editorial office sends the author a payment notice. Fees are charged by Medfors Sweden, in USD, via Stripe.

No TPF if the technical check fails. TPF is not refunded after Release. Requesting Approved does not itself charge the APC; no APC if the paper is never certified. Authors who supply a fit English version are not charged for translation. Translation is not bundled with APC.
Review waivers for TPF
Each accepted formal review earns one TPF waiver (50 USD). Waivers stack. The waiver applies only to that person’s later submissions for TPF; it is not transferable, not cash, and cannot be used against the APC. Only formal reviews accepted by the editorial office qualify for a waiver.
Commissioned pieces, commentaries, and office articles: APC waived, TPF may be waived. An invitation to submit does not automatically include a fee waiver. Any applicable waiver will be confirmed separately by the editorial office. Hardship relief is asked before APC is due.

Approved articles use CC BY-NC 4.0. Copyright stays with the authors. Released preprints are not under CC.
