By registering for an event hosted by the Journal of Acupuncture and Herbs (JAH) or its affiliates via this webform, you agree to the following terms of service. Please read these terms carefully before proceeding with your registration.
1. Registration and Payment
• Accuracy of Information: You agree to provide accurate and complete information during the registration process. Any incorrect or incomplete information may result in delays or denial of registration.
• Payment: For paid events, your registration is not considered complete until full payment is received. Payment details and fees are outlined on the event registration page.
• Confirmation: Once your registration and payment are processed, you will receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive confirmation within 48 hours, please contact us at jaheditorialboard@gmail.com.
2. Cancellation and Refund Policy
• Participant Cancellation: If you need to cancel your registration, you must notify the event organizer in writing via email at least one week prior to the event. Refunds, if applicable, will be processed in accordance with the refund policy specified on the event page.
• Organizer Cancellation: JAH reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the event at its discretion. In the event of cancellation, registered participants will be notified promptly, and refunds will be issued where applicable.
3. Event Changes
• JAH reserves the right to make changes to the event, including but not limited to speakers, schedule, and venue. Any changes will be communicated to registered participants in advance.
4. Code of Conduct
• All participants are expected to behave respectfully and professionally during the event. Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the event without a refund.
• Participants must adhere to any specific rules or guidelines provided by the event organizers or venue.
5. Liability
• JAH and its affiliates are not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury incurred during or as a result of your participation in the event.
• Participants are responsible for their own travel, accommodation, and other personal expenses related to event attendance, unless otherwise specified.
6. Use of Personal Data
• By registering, you consent to the collection and use of your personal data for event-related purposes, such as communication, event logistics, and post-event feedback.
• Your personal data will not be shared with third parties, except as necessary for event management and as described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Photography and Recording
• By attending the event, you acknowledge and agree that photographs and/or recordings may be taken during the event. JAH may use these materials for promotional or educational purposes.
• If you do not wish to appear in event photography or recordings, you must notify the event organizers in writing prior to the event.
8. Force Majeure
• JAH is not liable for any delay, cancellation, or other disruption caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, or public health emergencies.
9. Acceptance of Terms
• By submitting your registration, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms of service. Your continued participation in the event indicates your acceptance of these terms.
